The Invention of Lying

Finished this movie a couple of minutes ago, and I really liked it. It's about a man who lives in a world where nobody is able to lie, nobody even know what it is, everybody just speaks the truth basically, and Mark (main character) tells the first lie ever and it changes his entire life.

So Mark first uses his ability for personal gain, but then he helps other, he basically invents religion by telling his mother on her deathbed that she will go to a better place, and later he tells the public, which at first makes them happy but it doesn't work out the way Mark intended.

His love interest doesn't work out the way he wants to, 'Anna' likes him but doesn't want to be together with him, because he is chubby and has a snub nose, and with everyone being brutally honest, she tells him this, several times.

I don't want to spoil more then I've already done, but I advice everyone to watch this move, it made me happy and gave me a couple of laughs, and somewhere there is a lesson learned.

+Great acting
+Brilliant concept and very well executed
+Funny

-Not a huge fan of the whole religious theme

Hobo with a Shotgun

Oh how I hated this movie, just finished watching it literary 3minutes ago. I don't know what kind of people enjoys this kind of movies, I sure don't. When I started watching this movie I had no idea what it was about, I had heard about it somewhere, I would categorize the movie as a gore movie, perhaps a bit of romance? :o
But according to imdb it's a action/comedy/crime, I didn't see a single thing that I can imagine anyone would find funny, except maybe that one guy that took a shotgun blast to the face for smashing a newspaper dispenser.
I'm not going to explain the plot or anything, it's just a Hobo with a Shotgun whom likes a hooker, and there's a family of sick fucks who enjoys spreading misery and fear all over the city.

Not to be harsh on the movie or anything, but I wish I never watched it, but it's just not my genre, let me know in the comments if there's anyone in the world who likes these kind of movies.

+None

-Vulgar
-Repulsive
-Meaningless
-There wasn't a single scene in the movie that was shot with regular color, every fucking scene was tainted with some color which made it irritating to watch
-Cheap effects

1.5/10

I admit that Abby was a likable character, excluding that the movie sucked.

Hai guise

Not much to talk about, sorry for the lack of content. So I've nothing going on this weekend, yesterday I just chilled, today I think I'm going to hang out with my girlfriend, maybe watch a movie or something. If I'm really bored maybe I'll go out barbecuing, drink some beer etc. Oh, yeah. I also watched Die hard 4.0 for the first time since its release, and I stand by my previous statement, It's a good movie, but it still lacks the Die hard feel.

Until next time, life long and prosper.  ^____^

Die Hard D:

What a great fucking franchise, I've never been a fan of action movies but man, these movies are amazing. So yesterday me and my girlfriend watched Die hard 1,2 and 3, I've seen them all before but she had not, and she's the kind of girl that's into drama flicks and whatnot (don't get me wrong, I am to) and even she thought they were really entertaining. She had seen a few minutes of the fourth die hard on tv and asked me if we could watch it, I said only if we watch the first one first, so after the first one she wanted to see the second one and after the second one we saw the third one and after the third one she fell asleep...

I watched these movies when I was a kid and all I cared about then was the cool explosions, I never got McClanes comedic lines, but now when I did I laughed my ass off, literally. What else can I say other than everybody should've watched Die Hard, after the first one you'll be hooked.

                                John McClane, baddest motherfucker alive
